Mausoleum Flavi-Alexandorum

The Mausoleum constructed under Claudius' reign (planned by his wife Lucilla) to house the ashes of her father, Cnaeus Flavius Alexander, a hero of Rome. The Mausoleum also holds the ashes of other Flavians within the family, and will hold the ashes of those who pass in the future.
