Do you have any tips for people traveling there? 

It's gorgeous there, but enormous. I think my partner and I ended up walking about 11 miles that day before we did the hike up Vesuvius later that afternoon...! It's actually pretty easy  to get to from Naples (which is how we did it), but it's most definitely a full day activity, and pack plenty of water! We circled on the map all the places we actually wanted to visit, because you could easily spend the whole day just wandering the streets without seeing half of the things you wanted to!
