One of the most ancient patrician families at Rome, it however
has seen it's numbers dwindle in the recent generations.
However, in recent decades it saw a couple of rises in importance.
First by the marriage of the Late Publius Natta to the Late Cornelia Annthea,
a marriage that was cut short by the civil war.
Then later, in the time of peace, Publius youngest daughter Lucretia married
Annthea's youngest son Laelius.
