  • Essentially most characters would only need to know things between 50CE through to the current time. 

    AeRo is mostly AU after Caligula. However, the births of a few important dates were put in place to assist in working out ages, etc.

    Gaius Caesar - otherwise known as Caligula - celebrates the birth of his daughter by Milonia Caesonia. She is given the name Julia Drusilla.

    A large Germani raiding party is defeated by Cnaeus Flavius Alexander. The German leader, Alaric, is captured and later brought to Rome. Cnaeus is awarded the name ‘Germanicus’ by Claudius – a rare award for a man outside of the imperial family. This marks Cnaeus as favored by the Caesars and in turn increases the popularity and influence of his family. His legions become some of the most desirable to serve in by noble Roman youths.

    • In Britannia: Lucius Longinus, Legate LEGIO VI, marches on and captures Petuar, capital of the Parisii. It is a Pyrrhic victory that sees Petaur destroyed and the Romans fall back to Fort Lindum.

    • In Rome: During its mid-april session the senate decides to appoint Gaius Hostilius Saserna, Lucius Cassius Longinus and Decimus Flaminius as legates of legions in Britannia and Tiberius Fabius Maximus to be their superior. Furthermore the senate appoints Tiberius Maximus Legatus Augusti Propraetor and Lucius Quinctius Capitolinus procurator, meaning a divided governorship of Britannia in military and civil areas.

    • In Syria: Marcus Scaurus commits suicide. Quintus Alexander decides to take three of his legions and march westwards, making his capable and loyal brother, Octavius Dux Asiae and leaving other loyal men behind to govern his proverbial Eastern kingdom.

    • After Manius sent Camilius, he was warned by Flavia Lucilla about Camilius' possible involvement. Manius does not recall Camilius at this time as he trusts Titus.
    • Titus is wary of Camilius.

    • At a banquet held in honor of Cnaeus Alexander, Claudius meets Lucilla and instantly desires to marry her. Remembers her from the past when she spent time with Gaius and Valeria.
    • Lucilla, present with her mother, Cornelia Annthea is friendly although is happily married to Honorius. 
    • Livia remains in isolation. Claudius becomes worried she could be corrupted by outside sources.

    EPPITACOS AND QUINTUS ALEXANDER MEET

    • In their meeting, Eppitacos explains to Quintus that he has no desire to continue a pointless war, and that he understands the strength of Rome is more than the armies in Britannia. He proposes to Quintus that he is made allied king of Britannia, and that the kingdom will meet whatever tributary requirements Quintus sets, and in return they will remain free to live their lives in their traditional way. Quintus counters that the Druids (whom the Romans almost completely eradicated in Gaul) must be confined to Hibernia (Ireland), and that Eppitacos and the Britons must supply Rome with two cohorts’ worth of men to fight the Germans on the mainland. Eppitacos agrees and all is set for peace to settle in Britannia.

    • Word gets out to the tribes that Eppitacos has agreed to a peace offer from Rome before he can explain the true implications of it. He is ambushed by troops loyal to Ysulda in Brigantes lands and put in chains as a prisoner.

    • Seeing Scipio and Quintus Alexander with power, Camilius mobilizes his legions; the Senate devises a plan to split power between the five most powerful men.
    • Like the Triumvirate of Caesar, Crassus, and Pompey or that of Octavian, Lepidus, and Antonius, a Quinquevirate (meaning five men in power) is created; power is split between the Senate, Camilius, Quintus Alexander, Aetius Stilicho, and Manius still in Africa.
    • Unofficially, the Augusta, Darius Caesar's mother is involved in the decisions that are being made.
