Sharpie
Altair4 have some amazing stuff on their Youtube channel. Like this clip showing the Circus Maximus then and now - there's more, and a longer video, here on their website. First built in the times of Tarquinius Priscus, the structure underwent many changes. Our reconstruction dates to 64 AD when the circus was destroyed by fire in the reign of Nero. In this period the circus did not have the arch in the center of the curve that was built later, in the time of Titus. I also recommend this look at the insulae of Rome - this shows what it must have been like to live on the Aventine, or in the Subura.
