Sara
Didia let out a little choke. Well, at least he was being honest. Yet she felt her heart hammer against her ribs and the sting of his hands ripping up her hair didn't dissipate, it only got worse as he tightened the grip and pushed the knife into her throat a little more. If he found out she talked? She swallowed and tried to desperately reach for the knife, just out of her reach. If she could move forward, even a little bit, her fingers could grasp the hilt. She only needed a little bit of room. "I won't talk." She said with a choke. She would, but hopefully in the next few minutes the man would be dead and wouldn't mind her muttering. "D-do what you want." What was it, Lucius in one of his lucid, sober moments had told her? When I hurt people, you should see them, trying to fight back. She remembered his snort of amusement and the disgust on his face. It had frightened her then, that he was so angry that anybody would dare try and fight for their freedom. It was the same lesson her father taught her when she had been mugged that first time; just give them what they want and you'll live. Well. She'd give him what he wanted for now. She just needed a little bit more reach and she'd grasp the knife. Just a little bit more. TAG: @Atrice
Atrice
Marcus was being very honest and why should he not be? He did want to hurt her, to cut her, to make her bleed for how she’d behaved towards him. He wasn’t after her money, although she did break his pot. But if he was allowed to hurt her, he’d let her go. With a few threats, of course. He was so focused on her so far, talking to her, holding her, that he didn’t notice her one hand trying to reach for something. She said she wouldn’t talk and that he could do what he wanted. “Good.” He sat up a bit more now and it was then he noticed her hand. He let go of her hair, but only to reach out for her arm, “Don’t try anything… bitch.” He said and held onto her arm while he stood, yanking her up with him and up against the wall again. A familiar feeling, they’d been like this before after all. “Now… stand still. I just want to… see you bleed. That’s all I want. And you won’t talk.” Marcus said and let the blunt side of the knife dance over her throat again, where he cut her earlier. Then he pushed down some fabric from her shoulder, revealing bare skin that would be hidden by clothing. He pulled the knife down to that area. And pressed it through the skin. @Sara
Sara
Didia yelped as he grabbed her arm. Shit, shit, shit, shit. The knife was now far out of her reach and as he pulled her up to stand on trembling legs she felt not unlike a rag doll being passed around children. She had to lean back against the wall for support because she feared if she was forced to stand on her own two feet she'd fall down into a heap. She was not a sad person by nature, nor an afraid one, but right now she felt as if every single ounce of happiness and cheer had been sapped from her body and she wanted to be sick. She made a mewl of fear at his statement and as she felt the cool, blunt edge of the knife on her throat. She blinked away tears and turned her face to the side as he yanked down one shoulder of her tunica. For a moment she thought he had other designs on her and she raised an arm to hold up her dress and keep her modesty intact. She felt the knife and let out a yelp of pain, sniffing back tears. She felt the blood immatelt as it trickled down the cut, in thin red streaks. She shouldn't have looked, but she did. Those wide eyes looked down and caught sight of the blood coating his blade and her skin and immediately she was pulled back to that conversation with Theo: 'I'm not sure if I'd do much better in the infirmary...blood makes me feel all odd, dizzy, hot...'. She felt her legs grow weak and her chest flush, "Oh Juno..." She couldn't help it, the sight of it, the metallic smell of it, the stinging sensation that wasn't dying. Before she could stop herself, she doubled over and wretched, vomiting onto the pavement. TAG: @Atrice
Atrice
At least she did as told now, as she ought to! She was a woman, she was beneath him already, and then she'd offended him and broken his jar with the lemon oil. She didn't deserve anything better than what was coming to her. He had her up against the wall now. She'd let out a sound when he yanked her up, her legs were trembling but at least she was standing still. She was so scared now, wasn't she? Well maybe she should not have treated him the way she did! Maybe she really would learn to watch her language around strangers, now. She'd definitely have to watch her tongue. Marcus didn't lie when he said he'd find out where she lived and worked. He would. He kept his promises. Just as he had promised to not cut her throat again. He would cut her somewhere less visible. Wasn't that nice of him? So she could hide it if she had to and wanted to and he just bet she did. But he'd know where it was. Marcus had yanked down her tunica and she tried to hold it up, but he had no plans to violate her in other ways but with the knife. And then he did it. He dug the sharp little knife into her flesh, carving a thin line, maybe a few centimeters at most. But it was enough. She was bleeding now and the blood was glistening, running down over her pale skin and Marcus licked his lips. His body tingled again, as he stared at it. But then she suddenly looked too, staring at her own wound and she said Juno's name before she suddenly doubled over, unexpectedly and Marcus couldn't keep her away. She was vomiting on the pavement. He jumped back, staring at her as he grimaced. How disgusting! Maybe this was enough. He should leave her there. He'd been almost aroused when he cut her, but now that had definitely faded. Besides, if he wanted to, he could just fuck Aculia when he got home. Or Germanus. Whomever he encountered first. First however, he crouched down, careful to not step too close to her and into her stinking vomit, "Remember what I told you. Don't talk. Don't send someone looking for me. I'm sure I'll find out if you do. And then I will take your tongue." Marcus said in a low hiss and then he stood, picking up his bag with supplies to leave. @Sara
Sara
She coughed and coughed until she couldn't bring up anymore, and she wiped her hand with the back of her hand. She couldn't stop trembling and when he crouched down next to her, she flinched. She only nodded mutely at his words, tears stinging her eyes from the pain and humiliation and the sickness. Gods above, she never wanted to remember this, let alone tell anybody else. "I-I won't." She choked through her tears and as he moved away, she watched through bloodshot eyes as he scooped up his bag. When he'd taken a few paces away she couldn't contain herself anymore and she bolted, pushing herself up on wobbly legs. She ran and didn't look back, her sandals slapping the stones of the street as her chest burned from the exertion. At some point in her run she must have slipped the shoulder of her tunica back up because when she finally made it home, blood staining the fabric, chest heaving and cheeks flushed, it was up. She coughed again as she eyed the stairs back to her family's apartment. How could she go in looking like this? They'd ask questions she couldn't tell them - her father was frail enough as it was, she couldn't let them know...she bit at her lip and slowly set up the stairs, eyes darting everywhere in the dark. When she reached her landing she swallowed and glanced up. There was somebody else that could help her and she slowly started up the next lot of stairs, just wanting this day to end.
