Body slave and pet project

Lucius Vipsanius Roscius, like every good senatorial man, needs a body slave. He is not very keen on the idea, as he is fairly independent and he likes to see slaves as ordinary people to befriend. So if he is forced to have a body slave (and he probably will be, by his brother) he will pick a slave who is the worst possible option, someone who desperately needs help or a lucky break. Someone sentenced to death, or the mines, someone who is seemingly useless, or someone who is a constant problem/rebel, maybe. He will aim to save them and make their life better. So, give me your worst possible character ideas, and we'll see what plot comes from it ;)
