History
40 AD: Born the second son and child of Gaius and Annaea, a brother named for their father preceded him by three years.
43 AD: His sister, and the only girl, Annaea was born in the Summer. Despite the 3 years between them, they were thick as thieves once Annaea was old enough to toddle about.
46 AD: Lucius, the youngest of them all, was born. While he was a sickly infant, by some miracle the boy lived beyond his first year.
47 AD: Began his schooling, which at first was focused on a military career for him as his father envisioned Gaius Minor to follow in his footsteps.
50 AD: A duo of unfortunate events began to take place when Marcus was 10. Gaius Minor fell ill that summer, weakening the young boy greatly. His mother would later miscarry a child all but forced onto her when Gaius Minor's health was at its bleakest.
52 AD: Gaius Minor passes away. His mother is inconsolable and retreats to their summer villa with his sister. She doesn't step foot in Rome until after the civil war. His father shifts Marcus' lessons to politics, focusing now on his new heir. Lucius finds himself often forgotten until his own lessons began.
53 - 59 AD: Uneventful years in his personal life all things considering, some family deaths in the extended family but no one of note that effected Marcus emotionally or mentally. Political happenings however would have no effect him, either until the latter part of the decade.
